Registration Opens May 15, 2024!!

We are excited to announce that Cor Jesu is hosting our 3rd Annual Jesus Fest July 19 – 21, 2024! Jesus Fest is a weekend long Christ centered, wholesome family camp out! Families will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of fun events during the weekend, including a fishing derby, old fashioned games (potato sack races, water balloon fights, and more!), live music, campfires, BBQs, Rosary processions, and more!

Gates will open at 2:00pm on Friday, July 19 and close at 4:00pm on Sunday, July 21. We will close the weekend with Mass at St. Mary in Huntley at 5:00pm on Sunday, July 21.

The cost for the weekend is $185/family or $85/weekend pass for day only access. Price includes campsite, all games and activities, and meals for the weekend!

Camping is available for tents, pop-ups, and a limited number of RVs (No water/electric hookups/dumping). Porto potties are conveniently located throughout the property.

FAQs

  • Refund/Cancellation policy? Unfortunately, there will be no refunds for this event. However, you are free to visit Cor Jesu whenever you’d like for free!
  • What meals are provided? Dinner on Friday, all meals on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday.
  • What meal options will be offered for purchase? Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase all weekend.
  • Can you accommodate my dietary restriction? Not at this time.
  • What seating is available? Picnic tables will be in common areas. We suggest you bring your own chairs.
  • Can we bring bikes/canoes/kayaks? Absolutely! Life vests must be worn on or in the water at all times – there are no exceptions. We have a limited number available. Please plan accordingly.
  • Do you take credit/debit in the camp store? Cash is preferred, but we will have an option for Zelle, PayPal, or Venmo.
  • Is there Mass? Adoration? Mass and perpetual adoration is available at 5 local churches all within a 15 minute drive. We will end the weekend with Mass at St. Mary Huntley at 5:00pm.
  • What’s the weekend schedule? Schedule of events coming soon!
  • What should I bring? Tent, sleeping gear, medications, food, drinks, and anything else you’d bring camping!
  • Do I pay per tent or per family? Per family.
  • Should I bring drinking water? There will be bottled water for sale.
  • Is there electricity or water available? No electricity. There is no access to fill RV water tanks. Please fill up at home.
  • Can I come just for a day? Yes! Day only registration is available.
  • What is Cor Jesu? Cor Jesu is a Christian Mission, run by faithful Catholics, that seeks to bring all people to the Heart of Jesus Christ through the use of our facilities, ministries, and family and community events.

  • Are donations tax Deductible? Yes! Cor Jesu is a register 501(c)(3).
