How is Cor Jesu funded?

Cor Jesu is funded by donations. Your generosity helps keep our doors open!

How do you access our property?

Our main entrance is located at 5156 Hamilton Road.

What kind of event can we host at Cor Jesu?

Cor Jesu welcomes individuals, families, groups, parishes and churches to use our spaces to host any kind of Christ centered gathering, meeting, conference, or retreat. This includes family events and parties, fundraisers, and more.

Can we celebrate Mass at Cor Jesu?

No. As of now, Mass cannot be celebrated at Cor Jesu and the Most Blessed Sacrament is not reserved here. However, we do have a chapel on site for private prayer and there are 5 churches within 15 minutes of us that offer daily mass (St. Mary (Woodstock), St. Mary (Huntley), Sacred Heart (Marengo), St. Thomas the Apostle (Crystal Lake), St. Elizabeth Ann Seton (Crystal Lake)), and 4 of those churches offer perpetual adoration (St. Mary (Woodstock), St. Mary (Huntley), St. Thomas the Apostle (Crystal Lake), St. Elizabeth Ann Seton (Crystal Lake).

Who is the chaplain at Cor Jesu?

We do not have an assigned Chaplain at Cor Jesu. However, many local priests frequent Cor Jesu.

Are we affiliated with a diocese?

No – Cor Jesu is an independent nonprofit organization with no affiliation to a diocese.

What is your religious affiliation?

Cor Jesu is a Christian organization, run by faithful Catholics. We welcome people of all Christian faiths to come, visit, pray, and enjoy Christian community.

What is the operating schedule for Cor Jesu?

Cor Jesu is open Monday – Friday 7am – 4pm (winter hours) and 7am – 6pm (summer hours), and weekends by reservation. Please contact (815) 575-9480 fore reservations.
