Itinerary

Day 1 – Basilica and National Shrine of Mary Help of Christians at Holy Hill / Wisconsin Supper Club

Depart St. Mary Huntley on a plush and comfortable motorcoach and head to the Basilica and National Shrine of Mary Help of Christians at Holy Hill. We’ll celebrate Holy Mass, hear about the history of the shrine from one of the Carmelites, and have time to roam the shrine on your own. Enjoy the grounds of Holy Hill in the fall, walk the outdoor Stations, and stop into their amazing gift shop. We’ll have a catered lunch then depart enroute to our hotel in Green Bay. After we check in, we’ll head to a Wisconsin Supper Club for memorable group dinner (not included in cost).

Day 2 – Shrine of Our Lady of Champion / Door County Winery Tour and Fish Boil

After breakfast at the hotel, we’ll head to the Shrine of Our Lady of Champion and see where Blessed Mother appeared to Adele Brise in 1859. This is the only National Shrine in the U.S. with an approved Marian Apparition. After a tour, you’ll have the opportunity for confession and a group rosary before we celebrate Holy Mass. After Mass and a catered lunch, you will have time to prayer or tour the shrine grounds on your own.

After a holy morning and afternoon, we’ll head to Door County Wisconsin, where we’ll tour a winery and you’ll have the opportunity for a wine tasting! You’ll have time to shop for wine, cheese, fudge, and other Wisconsin gifts before we head to a Door County Fish Boil for dinner – complete with Door County cherry pie!

Day 3 – Basilica of Saint Josaphat / St. Joan of Arc Chapel / Mader’s German Restaurant

After breakfast, we’ll check out of the hotel and head to Milwaukee’s Basilica of Saint Josaphat. After a tour and time for private prayer, we’ll head to the Joan of Arc Chapel on the grounds of Marquette University for Holy Mass. This gothic chapel, which dates to the early 15th century, was shipped to the U.S. in the 1920’s and eventually donated to Marquette University. The Chapel houses the Joan of Arc Stone, on which the saint knelt and kissed before going into battle.

We’ll end our pilgrimage with a group lunch at legendary Mader’s German restaurant in Milwaukee before returning to St. Mary Huntley.
